Jane Thurnell-Read is a former university lecturer but became involved in natural health when she was searching for a solution for her first son’s eczema. She took her son to a kinesiologist, who diagnosed a wheat allergy. She took him off wheat and his eczema disappeared within two days. Next she visited the same kinesiologist herself and got her long-standing health problems sorted. This convinced her she should stop lecturing, and train as a kinesiologist instead. She was a practicing kinesiologist from 1982 to 2004. She taught kinesiology in the UK and also in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Turkey and Russia. She has written 9 books, some specifically aimed at practitioners and others for the general public.
She developed a range of professional test kits and was the founder of Life-Work Potential. In 2020 she sold the copany to Ergopathics Canda.
She now concentrates on writing about healthy ageing.
