Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schüßler was born on August 21, 1821, in Bad Zwischenahn, Germany. He initially worked as a clerk before pursuing studies in languages and medicine. Schüßler earned his medical degree at the University of Giessen and went on to practice as a general physician. He had a keen interest in homeopathy, which was gaining popularity at the time, and was heavily influenced by the principles of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy.
