Description
Brain integration is a central concept for some kinesiologies, such as Three In One Concepts and AcuNeuroSync/LEAP. The two hemispheres of the brain are seen to perform different functions: the left hemisphere concerned with rational processing and the right hemisphere concerned more with emotions. Many people test as having one of the hemispheres dominant. While it may be important at any given moment to have a particular hemisphere of the brain dominant, a fully functioning human being will change dominance depending on the circumstances. In addition there needs to be good integration between the two hemispheres of the brain. The techniques used work to strengthen the non-dominant hemisphere, to integrate the functioning of the two brain hemispheres and also to improve co-ordination between hands, feet, eyes, ears and the brain. The techniques often involve the client moving their body or part of their body in a set way on a regular basis. Although this work is particularly appropriate for people with dyslexia or learning difficulties, everyone’s brain needs help to function at its maximum potential.
