Origin
Middle half of anterior surface of fibula and interosseous membrane.
Insertion
Base of distal phalanx of great toe.
Actions
Extends, hyperextends great toe, dorsiflexes and inverts (supinates) foot.
Nerve
Deep peroneal nerve (L4, L5, S1).
