How to find
BL-8 is best located by using GV 20 (Hundred Meetings) as a reference point. GV 20 (Hundred Meetings) is located at the junction of the vertical midline with a line connecting the apices of the ears, 5 cun superior to the anterior hairline. To locate BL-08, measure 0.5 cun from GV 20 (Hundred Meetings) in a posterior direction and 1.5 cun in a lateral direction.
Location
1.5 cun lateral to the midline and 5.5 cun superior to the anterior hairline or 0.5 cun posterior to GV 20 (Hundred Meetings).
