Knowlative was built because this reference didn’t exist.
The reference database for Muscle Response Testing — built by a practitioner who needed it and couldn’t find it.
Where it started.
In 2018, Ludovico Feletto — orthopedic surgeon and practitioner of Muscle Response Testing since 2003 — reached a point of frustration that many MRT practitioners know well.
Twenty years of clinical notes. Hundreds of protocols documented across traditions. Thousands of connections between muscles, nutrients, neurological patterns, and clinical outcomes. Scattered across notebooks, textbooks, and memory — with no systematic way to find any of it fast when it mattered most.
The reference didn’t exist. He decided to build it.
But building a searchable, multilingual, cross-linked database of clinical knowledge is not something one person does alone. It requires a specific kind of technical and architectural thinking that goes far beyond medicine.
That’s where Roberto Pregnolato came in.
The clinical mind and the systems mind.
Ludovico and Roberto had known each other before Knowlative. When Ludovico brought the idea — a structured, multilingual reference database for MRT practitioners — Roberto saw immediately not just that it was possible, but how it needed to be built to actually work at scale.
Roberto is a developer and knowledge systems architect with deep experience in building platforms where complex, interconnected information needs to be navigated simply and quickly. He designed the data architecture that makes Knowlative more than a collection of articles: the cross-linking logic, the multilingual framework, the connection structure that links 4,802 entries across languages, traditions, and clinical domains. Without his work, the database would have been a document. With it, it became a tool.
Ludovico brought the clinical depth — the 20 years of practice, the protocols, the understanding of what a practitioner needs in the middle of a session. Roberto brought the structural intelligence — the ability to translate that knowledge into a system that could scale, be searched, and be used fast.
Knowlative is what happens when those two ways of thinking work together.
Since 2019. 4,802 entries. Six conferences. Three languages.
The first version of Knowlative launched in 2019. What had begun as a personal documentation project became the reference database for Muscle Response Testing.
Over the years the database grew to 4,802 entries — 873 muscles, 528 muscle tests, 1,176 acupoints, 3,087 balancing factors and 315 techniques — joined by 19,816 clinical connections across Applied Kinesiology, Touch for Health, Applied Physiology and related traditions. Full content in English, Italian and Spanish.
Six international conferences brought the global MRT community together annually — practitioners from Australia, Canada, the USA, and across Europe, sharing applied research, clinical experience, and technique innovation. Over 200 practitioners trained directly in the correct use of Muscle Response Testing.
Knowlative also brought together, at different moments, other contributors and collaborators — practitioners, educators, and experts who gave talks at the conferences, shared protocols, and helped push the field forward. The database carries their work too, even where their names don’t appear on every page.
The knowledge stays. The platform evolves.
In 2026, Knowlative entered a new phase. The custom platform Roberto built — which made the first six years possible — gave way to a leaner, more sustainable architecture. The content is entirely intact. The structure Roberto designed for how knowledge connects and cross-references is preserved in the new platform. What changed is the infrastructure, not the work.
Knowlative is now maintained by Ludovico as a solo operation — clinician, editor, and curator — with a single purpose: to be the most complete and useful reference for MRT practitioners in the world.
The story of how it got here belongs to all the collaborators that kept the project alive so far.
Knowlative IS:
- The reference you open mid-session: find a muscle, its test and its correction in seconds.
- 4,802 entries linked by 19,816 clinical connections: from each muscle you reach its meridian, reflexes, acupoints and techniques.
- Applied Kinesiology, Touch for Health, Applied Physiology and other traditions side by side, in one place.
- Every entry in English, Italian and Spanish.
- Curated by a clinician who uses it every day: Ludovico Feletto, orthopedic surgeon, MRT practitioner since 2003.
- The home of the K-Conversations conference recordings and the Knowlative courses.
- Free to start: open 3 Pro entries a month with a free account, or try Pro for 14 days.
Knowlative IS NOT:
- A course you finish and forget: it’s a reference you keep using, session after session.
- A replacement for hands-on training: it supports and completes what you learned in class.
- A beginner’s manual: it’s written for those who already test. Just starting? Begin with a hands-on course.
- Tied to any school or association: it’s independent and gives every tradition the same space.
- A forum or social network: no noise, only edited and curated content.
Six years of international gatherings.
Each year, Knowlative has hosted an international conference for MRT practitioners — a space where applied research, clinical experience, and technique innovation are shared across traditions and countries.
Six editions. Speakers from Australia, Canada, the USA, and across Europe. The most recent edition — From Stress to Mastery: Redesigning Wellbeing (2026) — brought together over 110 participants.
The recordings of every edition are available on Knowlative as courses, each on its own page. The 2020, 2021 and 2022 editions are free.
